Brian Marquez was murdered on a San Francisco street corner in 2005--since that day his father Luis, has been on a quest to find the killers that took his son. Through his passionate advocacy to find the murderers, Luis has lost sight of his family, and his family now suffers the absence of a father, along with the loss of Brian. Luis' daughter, Norma, expounds on the fragile mind-state of her father, and their tenuous relationship, as she sets up an altar welcoming Brian's spirit back into the house on the traditional Mexican holiday of the Day of the Dead.
